SWEETENERS

Sweeteners are substances added to food to give it the basic taste of sweetness. Commonly it refers to natural sugar substitutes, like Fructose, Glucose, Sucrose, Syrups. For all our natural sweeteners we refrain from adding any artificial sweeteners (i.e. Aspartame etc.).

Instead they are a group of low-digestible carbohydrates used as sugar replacers and providing some unique qualities to reduced-calorie products. However, they are also, in general, less sweet (70 – 100%), and can be combined with high-intensity sweeteners.

For the most part, intense sweeteners are calorie-free and are often used in combination with other intense sweeteners.
